Due to their long range properties, they can have an advantage over most melee weapons, although melee weapons with agile abilities and ranged attacks may outmaneuver them. They have a very weak melee attacks or doesn't have such thing at all. Ranged weapons on the other hand specializes in range battles and requires spacing. They have a minimum of one ability that is suited for close range, either a strong attack, dash attack, of a melee attack buffing ability. Their flicking functionality usually activates their abilities, which can also vary through random or timing means. Every weapon has their own flicking functionality, which the user can use to it's advantage. If you are not sure of what weapon to get, there is always the Random weapon option for you so that you can scroll through weapons (even ones that are not yet unlocked must be a bug) and see which weapon fits you.Įach weapon has it's own sets of gimmicks. Because of this, you are always going to need a weapon every fight. Aside from hazards, weapons are the only things that can legally deal damage and push players. Unlike any other selection in SDS, weapons aren't just purely for aesthetic.
